Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar – Sacred City Tour
Arrive at Amritsar Railway Station or Airport where our representative will welcome you. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. After some rest, begin your spiritual exploration by visiting the Golden Temple, the holiest Sikh shrine, followed by Jallianwala Bagh. In the evening, witness the Wagah Border Retreat Ceremony, a patriotic experience near the Indo-Pak border. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 2: Amritsar to Katra – Drive to the Base of the Goddess
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Katra, the base town for Vaishno Devi (approx. 260 km / 6-7 hours drive). Enjoy the scenic drive through Punjab and Jammu’s lush landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and relax. Prepare for the holy trek the next day. Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 3: Vaishno Devi Darshan – A Spiritual Trek
Early in the morning, start your trek to the sacred shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi (13 km one way). You can walk, hire ponies, or take helicopter services (as per availability). After darshan and blessings at the holy cave, return to Katra by evening or night. Rest and overnight stay in Katra.
Day 4: Katra to Jammu – Scenic Drive and City Visit
After breakfast and rest, check out and drive to Jammu city (approx. 50 km / 2 hours). Visit local temples like Raghunath Temple, Ranbireshwar Temple, or take a short walk through Jammu’s local markets for souvenirs. Check in at your hotel for an overnight stay in Jammu.
Day 5: Departure from Jammu
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Jammu Railway Station or Airport for your return journey with divine memories of Amritsar and Vaishno Devi.
